Liv Quackels began her art studies in 1996, attending a foundation course in art and design in Brighton, followed by a product design degree in Buckinghamshire University - England. She completed her studies at
La Cambre ENSAV High School of Visual Art - Brussels - from where she graduated in 2003.

Since then she has also specalised in graphic design, working among others for social committed NGO's such as "SOLIDAR" and AGE as well as some cultural project for "LE BOTANIQUE" Cultural Center,"KVS" - Koninklijke Vlaamse Schouwburg - the Brussel’s Flemish Theater and "LA PARTI PRODUCTION" - Belgian film producer.

She simultuanously continued her design work, participating in several competitions, as the Illy Award, the Hermes Award 2008 and Young Package Award 2005, where she won the first price with the projet cd fold ©.

She is particularly concerned about environmental issues and participated in the Loop-Lab Design Workshop organised by ROTOR. On the basis of this experience she has organised two sustainable design workshops (2007 and 2008) for the AAC - Atelier d’Art Contemporain - organised by the Fine Arts Academy of Brussels.
